Recipe Terms/Conditions

By submitting the form you agree to . .

. . . give Lewes Fishhouse full rights to your recipe; to post your unique recipe on the Lewes Fishhouse website and to send it out via email or to use in any publications we choose. You understand that you will not receive any monetary gain from sending Lewes Fishhouse your recipe and allowing us to use it.

You agree that this recipe is unique, you are the creator of the recipe and that you have full rights to submit it to Lewes Fishhouse as yours. You agree that Lewes Fishhouse may need to update some of the information on your recipe such as spelling, grammar, words left out, etc. We will not change the recipe itself; only the wording included if needed.

If you DO NOT agree to every term and condition and/or if this recipe is not yours (meaning you got it from another source such as a cookbook, website, or other source) please DO NOT send it to us due to copyright laws.

When will my recipe be posted?

Once we receive your recipe and verify it to the best of our ability, we will post the recipe within 2 weeks or sooner. Be sure to include as much detail as you can to avoid a delay.

If we do not post your recipe it is either due to it being too close to other recipes we have included, it is not unique, all form fields were not included, or the recipe instructions/directions were unclear.

Recipe Title

Enter a unique title for your recipe. The best titles include the name of the seafood you are using in them.

Recipe Image

We require a photo that you have taken to be included with the recipe we put on the site. The max upload amount is 2Mb so be sure to edit the image to get it under the upload limit. Without an image, we will not post your recipe.

Number of Servings

Enter the number of servings your recipe makes.

Recipe Ingredients/Measurements

Enter only the Ingredients and measurements in this area; each on a separate line or separated by a comma or period.

Recipe Details

Include Temperatures and Directions (step by step). PLEASE be sure to include enough information so that anyone at any cooking level will be able to make your recipe.

Personal Information to include

This will be the information we place on our website regarding who submitted the recipe. Example: Jane Smith, Lewes, DE or John Smith, Milford, DE. You can also include age, nickname, hometown, and website if you are the website owner and have the recipe posted there as well as on our site.
